Hello and welcome to Scott's public Lab wiki!

I have been labbing and hosting my own services since I was about 14 years old and have continued to build on services to the point where now I run almost entirely on my own stack.

The purpose of this site is to demo some of my lab and volunteer work, it is not meant to be a repository of code or a set of step-by-step guides. With that in mind pages will have overview information on how things work but will not delve too deeply into the details. Keep in mind there are also supporting services and configurations that are not documented here.

Services I host for the frerichs.cloud

Dashboard - homepage provides a basic dashboard with links to various services

NextCloud - This replaces most Google services apart from search

E-mail - This is hosted on a clean IP to allow mail through

JellyFin - This replaces all video stream services

NVR - I use Frigate to record video from my apartment and run it through some AI image analysis

LLM Services - I run my own language models locally, this gives me AI access without worrying about tokens.

Password Manager - I host Bitwarden locally

Authenticaton/Authorization - I use Authentik to provide authorization services for the lab

Kanboard - I use both Wekan and Kanboard to provide different 'Jira' like solutions for task tracking and requests

Monitoring - Monitoring is provided via a host of tools (promethus/grafana, uptimekuma, zabbix) for different solutions.

Backups - Find out about my 3-2-1 backup strategy!

Network Documentation - I use Netbox as a documentation tool and as a source of truth for Ansible to run automations against.
