I have been running file storage via Nextcloud for the family law office for some years now. They have been happy with the functionality of the service and while it does not offer anything that a cloud-provided service would they have only paid once for their hardware and recurring software license costs are minimal.

Because of the minimal costs they have been able to save much more than they would otherwise be saving, they now archive all footage in addition to documents.
